The Boston Collaborative for Food and Fitness
The Boston Collaborative for Food and Fitness is comprised of over 52 organizations
representing local universities, healthcare providers, businesses, youth-serving organizations, health insurers, city agencies, and community-based nonprofit organizations, among others.
Boston is one of nine communities nationwide that recently received a $500,000, two-year planning grant from the
W.K. Kellogg Foundation to support the creation of a comprehensive citywide plan to fight obesity and increase the availability of public space for physical activity.
•Are you dedicated to improving access to locally grown, affordable and healthy food choices for Boston families? •Would you like to help increase the access of safe places for Boston children to play?
•Are you committed to helping youth better understand the connection between diet and exercise and physical well-being?
