Community Health Planning

Using the most up-to-date prevention research, data, curricula, and tools, the Center works with groups to develop plans to improve the health of their community. We assist groups in identifying health priorities and designing new initiatives to meet their health concerns.

Evaluation

The Center can assist you in developing evaluation skills to assess the effectiveness of your program. The Center can help you design and conduct a needs and resource assessment as well as process and outcome evaluations. You can also gain skills in designing surveys (pre- and post-tests), conducting focus groups, and analyzing health statistics.

Resources

The resource library has books, curricula, health data, educational materials, periodicals, health displays, puppets, and many other creative prevention resources. Many of these resources are available in various languages and in large print. Assistive equipment is available on-site. The resource library also provides Internet access training.
